Dr. Edward Shmaruk, D.C. is a Board Certified Chiropractor licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Dr. Shmaruk received his undergraduate degree from Montclair State University and his doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta, GA. He provides a non-invasive alternative healthcare approach to his clients who have suffered a disruption to the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.

His practice emphasizes on the areas of sports injuries, automobile accidents, work related traumas and family care/wellness programs. With the use of Chiropractic care and other therapeutic treatments, Dr. Shmaruk has had great success in promoting the healing process and preventing similar injures and symptoms from re-occurring.

Dr. Edward Shmaruk is certified to perform Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) and has seen great results with this technique. Dr. Shmaruk’s staff is bilingual in Russian/Spanish. He holds a first degree black belt in Taekwondo and actively teaches and practice the art.

In February 2009, Dr. Shmaruk was invited to be the team chiropractor for the FIBT World Bobsled & Skeleton Team Championships in Lake Placid. He worked with world class Olympic Athletes for the Russian Olympic Bobsled & Skeleton teams. He provided chiropractic treatments, physio-therapeutic and functional rehabilitation that helped maximize each athletes performance. Dr. Shmaruk has been invited back to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada.
